Year 9 Kingston Technologies STEM Day
On Tuesday 25th November 60 Year 9 students participated in a STEM Day run by the Smallpeice Trust and sponsored by Kingston Technologies.
The is an educational charity that runs STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) challenges for young people, including a well-known which our students took on. Students designed and built a model wind turbine to generate electricity, teaching them about renewable energy, engineering principles, and teamwork. The works with companies to inspire young people to pursue careers in engineering.
The students worked really hard on their models, demonstrating creativity and analytical thinking whilst having fun learning new skills.
